Hi everyone,

I have just renewed our semi-annual contract with Xone today and I wanted to extend my gratitude to the following members: eS, GUB & Shadow for putting something solid into the pot and keeping this abortion we call uGu on life support. I will make it known now that myself and Steve will be shuffling admin rights around in an effort to ensure that the members mentioned above are buying into something. Hopefuly, once cleared with the senior staff we will be making admin a purchasble right rather than a god given one, the aim of this is to encourage dontations so as the financial burden isn't all on the above five, so please keep your eyes peeled in the members area of the forum.

The dedi-box which our servers run from have now been upgraded to a full Terabyte of HDD space and I am ensured that this coupled with the installment of a more modern, less performance heavy operating system will cure the niggly instability problems we were having. On top of this we are also looking into getting an extra 2gig of RAM and maybe a new CPU, all of which is dependent on the potential downtime we could experience during said upgrades and whether they are worth carrying out.

We also have dropped one of our match servers and replaced it with a 100tick FBG initiated public server, which runs a treat if I do say so myself. We will be carrying out some minor tweaks to the public server over the coming weeks and any suggestions are welcome. In the meantime the I.P's are as follows:

Hi [uGu],

our dedicated box has now been moved to a new rack. Xone are now able to physicaly visit the datacentre themselves and as a result offer better hands on support, at least in theory. Let's hope this is true.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in this season of the KGL, im proud to announce that uGu have been crowned the division champions and will be promoted a division for the next season of the KGL. Its been a long 5 weeks in the KGL but we managed to prove exactly how strong our clan is and how well we can work as a team.

KGL [uGu] Summary:
During the first week of KGL we managed to beat Turned On 21-9 on de_train, a map that weve done little match practise on.
The second week saw us face the promotion favourites at the time [MAG*S] on de_tuscan, unfortunatly we didnt manage to win this one but we did manage to stop them from winning too many rounds and keep the final scores fairly close at 13-17
Third week into KGL and we were again chucked into a map we had no match experience on de_season against [XTX], after have a disapointing second week we went out to prove ourselves, and did so by smashing [XTX] 25-5
The fourth week was a crucial week for us, if we won this game, and by a healthy margin we would put ourselves in a good position going into the final week. We did just that against [SC@] on de_nuke, taking the game 21-9 on a map that usually sees close scores such as 16-14
The final week, all we had to do was win the game and we would be division champions. [uGu] beat opponents BB hybrid 22-8.
